Remember, It’s a New Day

Standard

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Remember the time you did that bad deed? Yeah…that one. You knew it was wrong, but you did it anyway. You see what I mean? Thanks to Satan, you have a mental picture of the act right now. That’s one of his tricks. He wants you to constantly remember how rotten your humanity is. If he can keep you in a constant state of rear-viewing, you’ll never look forward long enough to accept the blessings of Christ’s grace and mercy.

Now, remember the day you decided to turn your life over to Jesus? The Lord wiped that bad deed away from your conscience. He forgave you for it! You never have to look back at it again, because His word says you are a new creation, in Him. Young saint, the year is coming to an end. Whatever bad things may have happened in the last 12 months, turn them over to Christ. Wipe the slate clean for a new beginning, through Him. Don’t allow the past to negate your future blessings.
